What are your opening times & days.

Our opening hours are displayed in the footer of our website, Facebook, TripAdvisor and Google.

When Sunderland AFC are playing at home, our opening hours will change.

Are you dog friendly?

Yes, Sheepfolds Stables has no restrictions for well-behaved dogs that are kept on a lead.

Can I pay cash?

Sorry, but we only take payment by credit or debit cards.

Do you sell Gift Vouchers?

Yes we Do!

Gift vouchers are available in units of £12.00 each and can only be obtained from Propa during our opening hours.

Will you be open on match days?

We shall be open for all ‘Home Games’. However, we will sometimes be shut for an hour to reset the kitchen when there is a 3:00pm kick-off.

Can we eat inside Propa?

Unfortunately not. Propa provides a takeaway service and there is plenty of room outside and throughout Sheepfolds Stables.

Do you serve Halal meat or poultry?

We do not serve any meat or poultry slaughtered in accordance with a religious profile.

Are you a restaurant in the true sense?

Propa is a takeaway with restaurant-trained chefs at the helm. You have the option of eating anywhere within the Sheepfolds Stables complex or take the food home with you.

Are you wheelchair friendly?

The Sheepfolds Stables venue is wheelchair friendly.

However, there is a step into the customer area that may present an issue with some wheelchair users. Our customer facing team are always on hand to assist with orders if needed.

Can I make a reservation?

Whilst we primarily operate on a first-come, first-served basis, we do accept reservations for larger groups. Contact us directly to arrange your visit.

Do we need to book?
Just come down we’ll make sure you get a table. You can’t really book. It’s an open house vibe and a take away in your hand. 
You can wander round have a drink, sit in the bars and plaza and keep warm. 

 

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?

For the time being, we are unable to offer gluten-free dishes. This may change in the months to come.

Do you accommodate vegans?

For the time being, we are unable to offer vegan dishes. This may change in the months to come.

Do you offer takeout?

Absolutely! You can enjoy Propa’s handmade pies at home with our convenient takeout service. 

What types of pies do you offer?

We proudly serve a variety of handmade pies, including classic steak and ale, chicken and mushroom, and vegetarian options, all crafted with the finest ingredients. These may quickly sell out and other varieties may be substituted.

Do you sell frozen pies?
We don’t sell any of our pies frozen, but you can buy our pies and freeze them at home. You’d have to let it fully thaw out before reheating for 25 minutes at 180c.
